BETA has been the world leader in Carbon-14 measurements for over three decades, having reported thousands of dates since inception.
The lab uses Accelerator Mass Spectrometry (AMS) technology. Beta has multiple AMS with very high redundancy in spare parts ensuring that delivery times are rapid (2-14 days) and can be met consistently. The standard service includes d13C measurements, calendar calibration when applicable, quality assurance reports and 24/7 web access to past results and pending analyses, including pictures of samples analysed.
